چکیده

Abstract With increasingly stringent fuel emission control in some river traffic zones and inland waters, this paper addresses the problem of substandard diesel emissions, relying on theoretical basis numerical simulation engine in-cylinder combustion. The combustion characteristics diesel-water-mixed methanol blended are simulated analyzed based AVL FIRE software. model was established, changes pressure, temperature, heat release rate, concentration were investigated for D85W10, D85W15, D85W20 blends respectively, which compared with diesel. results show that as proportion water mixture increases, temperature gradually pressure slightly decreases, rate does not change much, NO Soot emissions decrease.

Combustion Characteristics of a Diesel-hydrogen Dual Fuel Engine

Among the alternative fuels, hydrogen shows great potential in the near future. In the present study, hydrogen utilization as diesel engine fuel was investigated. Hydrogen can not be used directly in a diesel engine due to its autoignition temperature higher than that of diesel fuel. One alternative method is to use hydrogen in enrichment or induction. To investigate the combustion characterist...

Study of Low-Temperature-Combustion Diesel Engines

Fuel cells have been recognized as a feasible alternative to current IC engines. A significant technical problem yet to be resolved is the on bound fuel supply before fuel cells can be practically used for vehicles. Use of an on-board fuel reformer can mitigate the fuel supply issue. In particular, using a diesel engine as on-board fuel reformer, combined with a fuel cell, is a strong candidate...
